Classical technique graded by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing. Baby Ballet through to Intermediate.
Tap ISTD
Rhythm, musicality and footwork taught to the full ISTD syllabus. Primary through to Grade 5.
Jazz
Sharp isolations, big turns and performance quality with a modern edge. Mini through to Senior Advanced.
Contemporary
Fluid, expressive movement blending modern and classical technique. For ballet students.
Hip Hop
Authentic street-style movement rooted in hip-hop culture. Beginner to Advanced.
Commercial
Polished, punchy choreography built for camera and performance. Baby through to Advanced.
Musical Theatre
Sing, act, dance — full performance training and stage presence. Baby through to Senior.
Acrobatic Arts
Safe, progressive acro training from cartwheels to aerials. Mini Gym through to Advanced.

Local Professional Pantomime
Our students perform in the local professional pantomime — sharing a real stage with professional cast members and performing to packed audiences.
Annual Show — Rhyl Pavilion
Every year during the second week of Easter, our students take to the stage at the iconic Rhyl Pavilion Theatre for our spectacular annual showcase.
Competitions Nationwide
We travel across the country to compete in some of the most exciting dance competitions around — representing JJ's Studios with pride.
ISTD Ballet & Tap Exams
We run official ISTD graded examinations every year — giving students recognised, professional qualifications. Exams are optional, never compulsory.

We are a performing arts school based in Rhyl, North Wales — home to three newly renovated, purpose-built studios with professional dance facilities.
We believe atmosphere and environment is paramount in the success of any teaching establishment — so we've created a positive, encouraging and supportive space where the most important thing is fun!
